Bee,

All students who didn't complete their work got a C. All students who didn't complete their work should be happy they didn't receive a lower a grade. There had been students who got F's and instead of trying to negotiate their grade, they simply completed the assignments to the best of their ability. That's what I want from you. I won't settle for less. I hope you won't either.

One more thing:

Know that I appreciate your honesty. However, just because you say that you're not trying to be rude...that does not mean that you are successful in your attempt. Your attitude has been negative and disrespectful throughout this entire project. You consistently talk about other students' grades, but fail to acknowledge the fact that the vast majority of this class, even in the midst of their frustration (which is normal), has met, or surpassed (in many cases) every deadline. Therefore, though you have the right to vent, though you have the right to be frustrated, you do not have the right to be disrespectful to me or your classmates because you are not meeting deadlines and are unwilling to meet the final deadline because the e.c. points aren't large enought to motivate you. Be glad you got the extension. Buckle down and do the work.

This is no longer open for discussion. I do not expect to see anymore comments on this blog related to this topic. I've listened. I've respected and acknowledged you. There is no more room for negotiation
